The Massachusetts workers’ compensation statute is a no-fault wage replacement system, found in Chapter 152 of the Massachusetts General Laws and administered by the Department of Industrial Accidents, that provides medical and financial benefits to injured workers who are unable to perform their job because of a work-related injury, whether that be physical or psychological in nature.
